High Pressure Casting
The Aluminium high pressure diecasting machines range from 100 tonnes through to 800 tonnes and can produce Aluminium alloy castings weighing anything from 50 grams to 10 kilograms.
High Pressure diecast Zinc alloy components can weigh from 50 grams to 8 kilograms and can be produced using 15 tonne to 400 tonne dedicated Zinc production facilities.
Products can be created using a variety of alloys, depending on the specific property requirements. These include LM 2, 5, 6 and 24 for Aluminium castings and ZA 3 and 5 for Zinc castings.
Gravity Casting
These types of castings are produced by hand to offer extremely strong, durable products. Aluminium alloy gravity castings can weigh up to 5 kilograms whilst Zinc based alloy castings can be produced up to 7 kilograms.
An in-house design service means that your initial product concepts can be turned into reality with tooling facilities that can produce machine tools for up to 200 tonne machines. Alzin also has long established links with a number of toolmakers to produce tools for machines up to a maximum of 800 tonnes.
