Gravity Casting

These types of castings are produced by hand to offer extremely strong, durable products. Aluminium alloy gravity castings can weigh up to 5 kilograms whilst Zinc based alloy castings can be produced up to 7 kilograms.

Aluminium products can be produced in LM 2, 4, 6 and 24 alloys and, like the pressure castings, Zinc products are manufactured in ZA 3 and 5 alloys.

An in-house design service means that your initial product concepts can be turned into reality with tooling facilities that can produce machine tools for up to 200 tonne machines. Alzin also has long established links with a number of toolmakers to produce tools for machines up to a maximum of 800 tonnes.
